Your lock will unlock automatically as you approach the door with your smartphone, via Bluetooth, and it will lock automatically so you never have to worry about your home being unsecured. Yale Z-Wave Plus Smart Module
Add the Yale Z-Wave Plus Smart Module, available for $49, to your Assure Lock/Lever so that you can integrate your lock with smart home systems including Samsung SmartThings, Wink, Ring Alarm, Qolsys, Alarm.com, Honeywell and more!

Yale Zigbee Smart Module
Are you an Xfinity Home customer? Or, do you have an Echo Plus or Echo Show at home? Then by upgrading your Yale Assure Lock/Lever with the Yale Zigbee Smart Module, you'll be able to control and monitor it right from your smart app or through Alexa! Just pop the Zigbee Smart Module into the back of your lock and follow your smart home app's steps for adding a new device.

Yale iM1 Smart Module (Apple HomeKit)
 Attention iPhone users! By adding a Yale iM1 Smart Module to your Yale Assure Lock SL (YRD256), you can lock/unlock, share access with others and create automations for your smart home from anywhere* using the Apple Home app on your iOS device. You can even control your lock using Siri voice commands!
*To be able to control your lock, and other HomeKit devices, from outside of your home, you'll need an Apple TV 4th Gen or later, iPad or HomePod set up as a home hub.
