Lever Lock Version of Popular Yale Real Living Home Lockset Now Available

New Lever Locks Provide Attractive, Secure Option for Interior Doors.

Yale Locks & Hardware (www.yalelocks.com), an ASSA ABLOY Group company and a world leader in door hardware for residential and commercial applications, has announced the availability of the newest lock in the company's Yale Real Living line, the first locks specifically designed to integrate seamlessly into the digital home. 

The Yale Real Living lever lock is an attractive complement to the existing deadbolt version.  These new lever locks provide an aesthetically pleasing solution for interior doors in areas that require a higher level of security, such as wine cellars, gun rooms, and home offices.  Like their deadbolt counterparts, the Yale Real Living lever locks are available in both durable acrylic touchscreen or simple, elegant, tamper-resistant keypad. 

Yale's new platform of intelligent locks supports both Z-Wave® and ZigBee®, allowing them to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of home control and security systems.  Regardless of the home control system employed, users will have access to a high degree of functionality, including the ability to lock and unlock doors from web-enabled devices or create customized entry scenes for family members, neighbors and guests. 

Available with either a sleek capacitive touchscreen or pushbutton keypad, Yale's new lever locks support Z-Wave® and ZigBee®, allowing them to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of home control and security systems, including Control4, the Vera Z-Wave® home control system by Mi Casa Verde, and Alarm.com's emPower™, among others.

Features of the new locks include voice assisted programming in English, Spanish and French; personalized access-control scenes for up to 250 users; and access to all user programmable settings via select user interfaces.

The MSRP for these Zigbee-enabled locks is $400 (touchscreen version) and $325 (keypad version).  Prices for the Z-Wave version are $275 (touchscreen) and $225 (keypad).
